The veterinary staff at Countryside Veterinary Service, P.C. of Cement City, MI provides loving, friendly and courteous services for you and your household pet and excellent service for your farm animals . We welcome you to get to know our veterinarians, assistants, licensed veterinary technicians and office staff before your first visit.

  • Greg Crosley, DVM
    Greg Crosley DVM
    Associate large animal veterinarian

    Dr. Crosley is one of the founding partners of Countryside Veterinary Service. He joined the practice in 1981 and became an owner in 1982. Dr. Crosley sold his shares in 2022 and is now an associate.  Dr. Crosley has developed skills in ultrasonography (since 1997), surgery, sick and lame cow diagnosis and treatment. He has studied Spanish since 2000 and has been teaching Hispanic herdsman classes since 2005. He also augmented his skills by taking all three University of Minnesota classes in DC305 as well as gaining proficiency in Excel spreadsheets. Dr. Crosley also has experience in equine reproduction, dentistry, colic and interest in lameness and nutrition in horses.

    Judd Videto DVM
    Owner large animal veterinarian

    Dr. Videto joined Countryside Veterinary Service in 2001 and became an owner in 2002. He has a keen interest in calf and heifer raising and is an expert in overseas export of bovine animals. Dr. Videto also has an interest in goats and sheep and has gained considerable experience learning to manage, diagnose and treat these species.

    Jon Skinner DVM
    Owner large and small animal veterinarian

    Dr. Skinner joined Countryside Veterinary Service in 2005 after 9 years of practice in the Chino Valley of California. He became an owner in 2009. Dr. Skinner is skilled in dairy medicine and management, and small animal medicine.

    Dr. Heath joined Countryside Veterinary Service in 2007. She has experience and interest in ultrasonography, surgery and diagnosis and treatment of dairy animals, equine and small animals.

    Dr. Kostesich joined Countryside Veterinary Service in 2015. Dr. Kostesich works with bovine, equine, swine and other farm animals. Her areas of interest are ophthalmology, herd management and equine reproduction.

    Dr. Sweeney joined Countryside Veterinary Service in 2015 and became an owner in 2022.  Dr. Sweeney works with bovine, equine, swine and small animals.

    Kaitlin Quinter DVM CVA
    Associate large animal veterinarian

    Dr. Quinter joined Countryside in 2018.  Dr. Quinter grew up in Leelanau County, Michigan and spent a great deal of her high school and college years working with hunter/jumper and dressage horses. Dr. Quinter enjoys ophthalmology, lameness, gastroscopy and airway endoscopy. Dr. Quinter is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) and practices Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine and Acupuncture on horses, dogs and cats.

    Eliza Simpkins DVM
    Associate large animal veterinarian

    Dr. Simpkins joined Countryside in 2022. Dr. Skimpkins is a local, having grown up in Sand Creek, MI.  Her background includes breeding, training, and showing appaloosa horses. She has also worked at a dairy farm.  Her main veterinary interests are equine reproduction, neonate medicine and all aspect of bovine medicine.  She also enjoys small ruminants and swine.   Dr. Simpkins is certified in small and large animal acupuncture.

    Dr. Davidson joined Countryside in 2022. Dr. Davidson is an experienced veterinarian and prior practice owner.  He is passionate about helping owners care for the health of their pets and ensuring that our canine and feline companions live a life free of pain and fear.
